Payment 

I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Independence Blue Cross (which includes Keystone Health Plan East and Independence Administrators). If you have one of these I will bill them directly for our visit(s). If you have Cigna, United or other Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, click here to verify if your visit(s) will be fully covered.

For families with other insurances, I'll provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Upon booking, you supply your credit card information. After the consultation the credit card is charged.

The Affordable Care Act specifies that insurance companies cover preventive services and eliminate cost sharing for those services. Preventive services that have strong scientific evidence of their health benefits must be covered, and plans can no longer charge a patient cost-sharing in the form of a copayment or coinsurance on the services, or through applying services towards a deductible when delivered by a network provider. This includes, "Comprehensive lactation support and counseling, by a trained provider during pregnancy and/or in the postpartum period, and costs for renting breastfeeding equipment."
